With a modern open-plan layout, our student housing comes fully furnished with all of the essentials needed for easy day-to-day living. The student studios are ideal for student life and consist of a large double bed and storage, desk area with smart TV, 100Mb broadband, lunch area and ensuite stylish bathroom. Location is crucial when looking for accommodation, which is why our student properties are wonderfully located in Selly Oak. Selly Oak is known for being a student hub full of young adults and is a great place to meet new people. If you are staying over the summer to work in Birmingham, Selly oak could be a great place to have days and nights out. There are various restaurants, takeaways, shops for clothing, goods and services and even a local gym right down the road.
Selly Oak is also surrounded by several green areas and parks which will be a bonus during the summer. If you plan to work, transport in and out of Selly Oak is super convenient, with both a local train station and various bus routes going into the city centre and around Birmingham.
You could also explore Bournville which is located just up the road and has some great attractions including Cadbury World and Rowheath Pavilion, known for their fantastic food and drink festivals throughout the summer. Other towns to visit are Moseley, Kings Heath and Harborne, which are only a quick bus journey away. Each offers its' own plethora of places to explore and try out and you are sure to find something fun to do.

Birmingham has some wonderful and exciting places to visit, from taking a nice walk down the canals, having drinks in Brindley Place, visiting the Art Museum or Symphony Hall, sunbathing in gorgeous parks like Cannon Hill or Kings Heath Park, going to the cinema or even playing glow in the dark mini-golf!
If you are wanting to travel a bit further, some wonderful cities are easily accessible outside of Birmingham. Places like Stratford-Upon-Avon is great for a day trip, with historical tours of the famous Shakespeare town, a beautiful butterfly farm, a Shakespeare inspired escape room, or even various boat rides along the canal.
Alternatively, another area to check out is Shrewsbury, filled to the brim with history including the Shrewsbury Castle and Shrewsbury Abbey. London is also a great option for a fun day or even a weekend trip, as it has so many hidden galleries, museums and other attractions that are worth checking out. And once the theatre opens up a bit more, it will once again be the prime location to experience some fantastic theatre shows!
