Birmingham Has a New Free Christmas Trail for 2024 and This Year It’s Reindeer-Themed
The colourful reindeer are dotted around the city—from the Big Wheel and Ice Skate Birmingham in Centenary Square to The Mailbox, Great Western Arcade, and Corporation Street. There's even one near the nativity scene at the German Christmas Market and in the picturesque Piccadilly Arcade, which looks like it's been 'wrapped for Christmas'.
The trail runs from November 6, 2024, to January 6, 2025. There are, of course, nine to search for. Walk the city streets and you'll discover the smiling faces of Rudolph together with Dasher, Dancer, Prancer,Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner and Blitzen.

Love it or hate it, there’s no denying the popularity of the Birmingham German Christmas Market.

As the market officially opened at 11 am on Friday, November 1, 2024, the city centre was busier than usual as people began to take in the festive spirit. We spoke to people on the opening day to get their honest opinions on the annual tradition.
Cycle Ban Plan for City Centre After Collisions
A cycling ban in Birmingham city centre is being considered with the aim of reducing the "likelihood of near misses and collisions" with pedestrians.
A consultation plan has been launched by the city council targeting people cycling through busy pedestrian areas.
The council has acknowledged the plans are controversial and is seeking.
the public's view as it remains possible no measures will be brought in.
