University of Birmingham Produces Some of World's Most Employable Graduates

University of Birmingham has been recognised among the world’s top 250 institutions for graduate employability — ranked 159th globally in the 2026 Global Employability University Ranking & Survey (GEURS), climbing ten places from last year.

The ranking highlights not only the strength of its academic programmes, but also the university’s emphasis on real-world readiness. Through its extensive Careers Network, global internship and employer-engagement programmes, and the “Elevate” entrepreneurship initiative (with more than 100 new businesses founded since 2021), UoB supports students in gaining practical experience — making its graduates highly desirable to top employers.

This recognition builds on UoB’s repeated success: for the second year running it has also been named the UK’s top institution for attracting leading graduate employers.
